God Has a Plan For You

Well as you can see I have been learning how to place items on the side bar, Praise the Lord I finally figured it out. I am still learning how to do things, It takes awhile. I want to learn EVERYTHING!!! I think I am totally hooked! Yikes!! Yes thats our bike, miss riding. But summer will be here before we know it (I hope). I am preparing for our womens bible study this Saturday, and I am praying about this New Year and the plans God has for us. May I share what is on my heart? I read this on another blog at the Internet cafe; In the book of Jeremiah 29;11-13 It says;

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord,
plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give
you a hope and a future."

His plans for us, yes ? He will direct our path, So I intend to really work on that this year. To wait on Him. To sit and listen, really listen! I sure do not want to miss it, or go down a wrong path. In the book of Psalms,32:8 It says;

"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go.
I will counsel you and watch over you."

Oh that is so good. All I need to do is seek him and find out which path to take. Back in the book of Jeremiah 29:13 It says; You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.
So there you have it. That is a glimpse of what our bible study will be on. I guess I really need to share how much He loves us and there is a better way to do things, HIS way not mine. After all He is God....I'm not. Oh how He loves us, yes?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

NEW YEARS EVE PARTY

Ok, so the weekend is here!! Who has plans for New Years Eve? Well what are you doing? do you have friends over? Go to the movies? Sit home and watch the ball fall? Does any one have any great ideas? When our kids were little we had a party at home and set out junk food,& good food. We decorated and had balloons. Then we played games, yes this lasted all night. Then the ball falls on time square and off to bed, NOT They just ate a ton of sugar and pop and their crazy:) The picture shows my kids when they were little at our new year party, yup crazy:)

Later in years when the kids all have grown and left the nest we(Jim & me) just kind of stayed home together and watched the ball fall. Well actually I go to bed now, don't like to stay up that late, or maybe I cant,hee hee. We might go out this year, spend time with friends, play cards or a game. But I don't like being on the road with all the drunk drivers out there.Boy I sound like an old( fuddy duddy). We shall see, I haven't even talked about it yet! Guess we should huh? Well whatever we do we will be together and thats what counts right? So how do you ring in the new year??

Party At Grams

This is it, over just like that!! I had a wonderful Christmas, sad but good. When I am with my kids and grand kids there is nothing better on earth! We had a blast!! Oh my I had way to much food,Do you know what I mean?? Why do we do that? Oh well I look like a pregnant old lady!! I feel like one to:) Time to get back on track again. Exercise, oh my!!
I watched the sparkle in the kids eyes as they opened their gifts, oh how special it is. What a blessing to give, to make someone happy. And what a great blessing to receive also:)

That is what our Father in heaven did for us. He sent His Son at Christmas for us. For you and me!! Wow that is a gift. The gift of love. It would be awesome to receive Him as eager and happy as the kids are to open their gifts. The excitement, anticipation, Come Lord Jesus!!
Rip it open, tear it to shreds, get to the inside, thats the prize!! Hmmm

This is my special group of little ones, my girls!! I am such a proud Grandma:)

Ok I could put up a ton of pictures but I wont, But I will leave you with this, after the party's this is what we all felt like; Grateful, thankful, blessed, and very tired. God Bless.

Yes even my kitty Annie is pooped!

Jesus Birth

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone all around them. and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.

Today in the town of David a savior has been born to you; He is Christ the Lord.This will be a sign to you; You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manager. Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

" Glory to God in the highest,and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."
NIV Luke 2: 8-14
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!!

Christmas without Dad

As I am writing this I am waiting to go to my family Christmas with my siblings and all extended families. this has always been a tradition every year. we continued on after my mom died 22 years ago and now after my dad died 2 years ago it is hard to have the nieces and nephews come with their kids. not all but some. they came for Grandpa, and well he is not here anymore. But my brother promised dad he would continue the tradition. So we now just have an open house instead of renting a hall ,so if people want to stop by they can. We want to see all of our families and this gives them a chance to see all their cousins, and Aunts and Uncles, but we can never please everyone nor can we control anyone. So we continue on and hope and pray for all families to know that Jesus is the reason for the season. Family is very important, we may not get along with everyone but we that are Christians need to love as Jesus does and not judge or hold grudges. My dad prayed for peace and forgiveness for this wild and crazy family, and my brother and sisters will continue the prayers and the love for all of them and lead by example!! (Jesus example). We will break bread (communion) with our families another tradition (polish).we rock!! The head of each family breaks with each member within their family first then the rest of the tribe!!It is awesome:) This is a hard Christmas for me. I miss my dad very much!!! yes very much! well keep me in your prayers off I go.. i think I just vented some Thanks I feel better:) Be back later or tomorrow with pictures:)

Bring Jesus To Your Workplace

We had another awesome womens bible fellowship on Saturday morning. Merry was incredible

The Lord brought a little boy into her work and she was going to schedule his appointment on a Monday. Well this boy said NO NOT A MONDAY!! EVERYONE HATES MONDAY’S!! So this is when the Lord showed her how most people act during the week and can’t wait for Friday. Well we as Christians should be happy and thankful we are in the work place. We are to be doing His work at our work. What do our co-workers see us doing?? How is our attitude?? Do we shine or do we complain? Are we a positive influence or a negative one? Yes we are all busy, but are we expecting too much from others? Are we trying to control? Oh I have to tell you this was awesome. It hit home for all of us and I believe the Lord wants you to know also that He is with us even at work, so let’s shine and remember He is the reason for the season.

Ecclesiastes 3:12, 13

I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live.

That every man eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil---this is the gift of God.
