My Times Are In His Hands

Hand of God by The G-tastic 7.
Does anybody else see the hand of God and The bird of pardise?

You know as I grow older, I realize that my time is more valuable than I thought it was. I mean I don't want to waste my time, because it really is precious. So this comes down to choices I make through out the day. I guess the Lord is helping me to grow in some areas, and I have started to take a look at how I spend my time. How much time do I spend learning and growing than being lazy or entertained? Hmmm. . . . .

Well what I mean is how much of my time is devoted to Him and growing and learning than watching tv, or on the computer or just doing nothing of importance. This is where I need to grow this year. As I was reading a devotion from Joyce Meyer I found this. . . Psalm 31:14,15 say's. But I trust in you Lord; I say, you are my God. My times are in your hands;. . .WOW did you see that . . MY TIMES ARE IN YOUR HANDS. . . .MY TIME IS IN GODS HANDS. . . .

So now you can see why I want to spend it wisely. God wants are best not our left overs. He wants the first and best of our day, not the last when we are too tired to even finish praying.
You know we have all done that . . fall asleep while praying, . .the apostles did that while Jesus was up all night praying. God wants our best, after all He gives His best:)

I want to go before Him and ask for wisdom daily so I can make wise choices throughout my day that will glorify Him. He wakes me in the morning to start a new day, and I work for Him so I go to Him in the morning for His wisdom and instructions for the day. But it doesn't stop there. . .we can pray throughout the day, while we are dressing, driving, before a meeting, cooking, working. . He is always there we just need to talk with Him during the whole day, not just once in the morning or once at bed time. and not complaining to Him all the time, give Him your best. You will feel His presence with you the more you do this, and you will hear Him speak to you . When you put your trust in Him He will guide you and direct your path. He say's so in Proverbs3:5,6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding: in all your way's acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
Yes my times are in His hands!! Praise God. So that is what I will be working on, among many other things. . .Oh that's another post. . . . .and another. . .and another. . I am a work in progress:)

  4. Yes, I see them!
I am so glad God is not limited to our morning devotion time or evening prayers. When we are cooking, or doing laundry, or gorcery shopping - He is always with us. And I am so thankful!
